Esentepe offers a variety of agricultural products. Wheat and barley are planted on the level areas adjacent to the sea. There is an abundant number of olive and carob trees planted throughout the village as well. These trees not only contribute to a fantastic, natural scenery but also offer a source of income for the villagers. The Esentepe Extra Virgin 'black' olive oil is believed to be a natural cure for many health problems.
Furthermore, the village is famous for its apricot orchards. Although the production does not meet the demand during the short season through June and July, during this period the groceries are flourished with Esentepe apricots. There is also a particular summer apple variety grown in Esentepe that is a small, and red with a very sweet taste.
